The Bench
In 2009 and 2010, Point Park University premiered and produced this full-length, multi-media dance theater piece. The Bench explored the moments that fill our lives with stories, our hearts with memories and our souls with fulfillment. The Bench followed the journey of one couple, from their first encounter through each significant moment thereafter, as they experience the trials, triumphs and comedy of life.
In 2011, Titus Theatricals, LLC. optioned the rights to produce The Bench professionally. Currently in the process of developing a commercial production, The Bench is undergoing rewrites inlcuding: new scenes, exciting plot twists and the addition of lyrics. Under the Writing, Direction and Choreography of Kiesha Lalama, composer David Lalama and lyricist Joel Mason are collaborating to create an original and groundbreaking theatrical experience.
